I traded my ATV for a 2001 Yamaha V-Star 650. It was bone stock when I got it except after market pipes and 30-50lbs of chrome!

I ripped all the chrome off and painted most of it it black. Dished the tank. Lowered it 1.5 inches. Had a friend hand make me an aluminum seat which I mounted on a leaf spring. And I built a custom mount for the plate and the '37 Ford tail light.

It's a fun ride and gets plenty of looks.

I did this only after work and on weekends. It was only torn down for a month or so. If you have any questions let me know. www.mineandco.com

Awsome Bike
by: VStar Owner

Wow bro, the bike looks awesome. I have the same year bike and I have been thinking about doing the same thing you did to yours. How long did it take to make it look like that and what was the cost?
