What an astounding transformation! Thanks for including the "before" picture so we can see just how ugly that bike was.

Fantastic job Mark. You hit a home-run with this build.

Amazing transformation, where did you start?
by: Brendan W.

I recently just purchased a 1981 Honda CM200 and want to convert it to a cafe racer. I bought the bike because I had never ridden before and was looking for something simple, basic, and small to start out on. As a novice rider I don't really know much about basic maintenance and parts yet, let alone transforming a bike myself. How do I get started? The internet has almost too much information out there so without any experience I can't seperate the good from the bad.
