1975 honda cb550 cafe racer

This bike took about 1 year on and off to build. Everything from the fabrication, paint and mechanics was done by myself. The before pic shows the sad state I found this gem.

Tucked away in a shed after it broke down on the previous owner, who was mechanically challenged...

I did a total tear down and lost about 50lbs of crap in the process..

This is a great bike to rip around on now. Definitely a addicting little ride.

Aaron, wow! What a transformation. It must have been fun hacking off that touring crap etc!
There's a lot to like here; seat, paint, shorty front fender, the more I look the more I see. And I see at least one more old Japanese bike in the back-ground. Maybe there's another cafe racer in the offing!
